Halloween Eve

 Every year our friends Vanessa and Grant have a Halloween party and even though we live in Australia and it isn't as big here as America, Vanessa always seems to hunt around and find some amazing things to decorate her house. Early this week  she managed to get some imported pumpkins from America for the kids to carve. Thanks Ness you're AWESOME!!

A Day To Play

Yesterday I had a play day with Marg  ( I call her young Marg) as we both have the same name. Marg did her very first class with me a few months ago (mini houses) and now there is no stopping her.

 There was lots of laughing, cups of tea and coffee and most of all many hours of CREATING!  Our day was spent making Moo cards and Skinny Pages which she had never tried.

              

Look Who Came To Visit

I have to share this with you as just recently I had a little visitor in my backyard... A real rarity !! 

Even though they are an Australian native bird I have never seen one in suburbia, especially in one of my trees. This maybe due to the very dry conditions in Melbourne because of the drought.

I think  they are a fairly shy bird... This one seemed  quite small and looked young.

P 2 P Weekend

Last weekend I had a wonderful time with my dear friend Suellen and her son Leigh, who made a long trip from W.A . We had a busy time visiting all the  great places Melbourne has the offer, and of course it wouldn't be complete without a day at the football...

My class at Picture to Page ran very smoothly with all the ladies working well under pressure (lots to do in 40 mins) Well done to the beginners. And a special thanks to my helper Suellen.
