The other night as I stood outside pondering on my lifes journey without the presences of my Dad in it, I looked up to the sky and saw the first star for the evening... It was so magical I thought I would share it with you and hope you also could make a Christmas wish!

                                             

I want to take a moment to say "Thank you" to all of you who have sent such beautiful emails, flowers and cards, it really made a difference. Special thanks to Eva for your lovely handmade card! 

Life is precious so treasure each moment you share with your loved ones and make this Christmas a Special one..... Hugs to you all

My Heart Is Broken

Thank you to all of you who have sent me such lovely emails since my last post...Sadly on Saturday my dear Dad passed away.... It is a sad time for myself and my family and if I am away from my blog for a while I hope you will all understand.... Hugs to you all.....Marg x

Creative Wednesday- Houses

This week I had a play with some new houses from Scrapware. These are raised but not 3D so I could add something behind the windows... Don't know how I held myself back from making them 3D.

                               

                               

This weeks theme at  Creative Wednesday is houses so I have chosen my silver house as my piece for the challenge! 

Halloween Eve

 Every year our friends Vanessa and Grant have a Halloween party and even though we live in Australia and it isn't as big here as America, Vanessa always seems to hunt around and find some amazing things to decorate her house. Early this week  she managed to get some imported pumpkins from America for the kids to carve. Thanks Ness you're AWESOME!!

Shabby Chic Moo Card

This is a Moo Card I made for this weeks challenge at  Creative Wednesday . The theme is "Shabby Chic" which to be honest I have never done before... but I had fun making it!

Birdhouses

As you all know I have a passion for  anything mini and houses... These birdhouses are made by an Australian  company called Scrapware... They come in kit form so all you have to do is use your imagination and create... This is a sample I made for them... I put a little skylight in the roof using accetate and a mini frame...All images are Paper Whimsy.

                                                               

                                                               

                                                               

Inside My Window

This is my piece for the challenge at  Creative Wednesday the theme this week is "Windows"  The images are from Paper Whimsy. The frame is painted and aged with sand paper and the window box I designed using chipboard, its hard to see but it is 3D.

Whimsy Playing Cards

Well as promised here is my second post on mini playing cards... It has become a bit of an addiction as I have made well over 20 in the last few days and I'm having such fun....I have called this set  "Whimsy Playing Cards" as I have used images from the  Paper Whimsy range. I have had this mini pack of playing cards (1 3/4" x 1 1/4")for some time but couldn't think what to do with them... Now I will be on the search for more mini cards to alter, infact I am going start looking for unusual sets in which to alter ...What a challenge!!
